The Rock

This Villa ornamented in local stone was designed by thinking outside the box.

On the Costa Smeralda, one rarely comes across such a minimalist building. The goal, that led us to such pure architecture, was to achieve as much glass surface as possible so as to enjoy 360° of the magnificent panorama this location offers.

The building was designed on several floors to create privacy between the five suites and the spaces that comprise it. En plein air lounges, outdoor kitchens, hammocks and chaise lounges were located under the protracted porches to extend the house outward. The master bedroom, at the top of the building, has a large private terrace while guests have access to an independent apartment. The spacious gym overlooks the granite courtyard while the infinity pool, surrounded by its teak deck, has views toward the horizon.

The meticulously designed garden is on different levels and the essences are a heterogeneous mix of Mediterranean and tropical plants. Great importance was given to the study of lighting so as to enhance the forms and avant-garde spirit of this dream home.
